DON’T PANIC
I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. It is MENTAL out there at the moment! I was lucky enough to have been in real estate during the last boom in 2005-2008 and let me tell you this is exactly the same as it was then. Actually, it’s probably even better. So this is no blip on the radar, this is a real and actual BOOM.
So to say the game has changed would be a serious understatement. I compare this to peace and war. Peace being downturn and war being boom. It is a shit fight for everything from service, stock, goods, contractors, decisions, banks, and the list goes on and on. The sad thing is, people start to become very protective and possessive about everything because it is a fight to get anything.
This situation can create a lot of frustration, unsettled feelings, and snappy staff or colleagues, even leading to major fallouts and bad decisions. Please be aware that you are in control at all times simply through the way that you think, feel, and act. So, don’t get swept up in this like a tornado and spat out as I have seen hundreds of times before. Take it in your stride and make sure you are in control. Make sure your management of YOU, your systems, and your structure is being followed and if you are continually proactive as opposed to reactive, you will take full advantage of this BOOM. Once this is all said and done, some of you will be able to retire or set you and your business up for life.
REMEMBER THERE IS PLENTY FOR EVERYONE
In fact, there is more than you could ever handle SO DON’T PANIC!
