September 2022 Market Update

Welcome to the final quarter of the year! I always love this time of year, not only is the weather starting to get better, but it’s arguably the best period for real estate sales.

No surprise here, it is being reported that nationally we’re in a downturn market. The good news for some though is not everyone has felt its effects yet. We’ve experienced the fastest interest rate rise since 1994 which has contributed to the price falls we’re seeing, however, CoreLogic is reporting that “prices are still significantly above their pre-pandemic levels”.

Even with stock levels being in short supply and prices dropping nationally, I’m still hopeful that this downturn will be short-lived and that we’ll experience a great Spring selling season.
