2023 is only two weeks away and I want to help you to make it the most profitable and productive year you’ve ever had.
To do that, I have created a list of eight simple things that I want you to focus on in the first couple of months of 2023. If you start thinking about them consistently, you’ll find that they subconsciously become part of your everyday routine.
1. Time Management
The key is not to burn yourself out. If you’re overwhelmed then you’re unorganised. Plan your ideal work week and stick to it. Remember, 80% of your results come from 20% of your activities, we all know what these activities are: PROSPECTING, PROSPECTING, PROSPECTING, so plan accordingly.
2. Stop Multi-Tasking
Start focussing on one task and give it 100% of your attention. If a task takes only 5 minutes to complete, do it first. If something can be delegated or automated, then hand it over to someone else or create the automated system.
3. Start with Small Steps
Nothing happens overnight. Changing the way you think and feel is tough, but if you take small steps and make minor improvements every day, they will lead to big changes.
4. Take Responsibility
If you find yourself constantly blaming outside forces for you not achieving your goals, then you have what is called an External Locus of Control. It’s time to understand that you are in control of your own destiny, so take the reigns, start believing in yourself more, and change your mindset.
5. Your Sphere of Influence
Often overlooked, your sphere of influence is a big contributor to how successful you will be. We’ve all heard the saying, “they got in with a bad crowd”. If you want to start earning more money and become a high-performing agent, start hanging out with like-minded people.
6. The Highest ROI is Investing in Yourself
Start reading and listening to more educational materials. If you’re driving, walking, working out, or relaxing in front of the TV, use this time. Make it a daily habit to consume something educational and you’ll get a lifetime of returns. If you want to earn more, you need to learn more.
7. Discover your WHY
What is your purpose for doing what you do? Once you have discovered your WHY, your path will become much clearer to you.
8. Set ACHIEVABLE Goals
Work out exactly WHAT you want, WHY you want it, and HOW you’re going to get it. This is where writing out your goals comes in. To discover how to write achievable goals, you can download my 3 Steps to Effective Goal Setting book by clicking on the button below.
