The Harder You Work, The Luckier You Get

There’s a saying I’ve always loved: “The harder you work, the luckier you get.”

It might sound simple, but in my experience, it’s one of the most powerful truths in both life and business. Time and time again, I’ve seen that when you put in the effort, take consistent action, and keep showing up — opportunities start finding you.

Creating Your Own Luck

Earlier this year, I noticed a few gaps in my diary. Rather than waiting for things to happen, I decided to get proactive. I picked up the phone, reached out to past clients, connected with people in my network, and started putting energy out into the world.

And almost like clockwork, things began to shift. The phone started ringing — new clients, old friends, and referrals all reached out for help.

That’s the magic of action and energy. Like attracts like. When you move with intent, you create momentum that draws people and opportunities toward you.

A Lesson from the Early Days

I’ll never forget one particular day when I was still a rookie agent. After hours of cold calls with no success, I left the office feeling frustrated and drained. On my way out, I struck up a quick, casual conversation with someone — and, to my surprise, that person turned out to have a property to sell.

That single moment led to a listing… and a lifelong reminder that luck shows up when you do.

Keep Showing Up

If things ever feel slow or stuck, don’t wait for luck to find you — start moving.

  • Pick up the phone.
    Meet people.
    Do the work.

Because the truth is, the harder you work, the luckier you really do get.

So keep pushing forward — your next bit of “luck” might be just around the corner.

Here’s to your success,
