Social Media is something you cannot afford to go without if you are a Real Estate agent. Facebook is the easiest way for you to create and market to your audience. Advertising on Facebook is something you can and SHOULD be doing if you are interested in growing your business
Uploading your database to Facebook is relatively simple. You should be using Facebook Business Manager. If not, I’d recommend you set that up as it is much easier to control your page, create audiences, run ads and give permissions to other people using the Business manager, such as a PA.
Building your database should be the first thing you do as a Real Estate Agent, if you have less than 1000 people on your database there are many ways to build the database. You need to get it to that stage because ghosts can’t buy or sell houses! You can then use this database. You can then use this Database to generate more leads using Facebook business manager. Your database should be composed of a few key elements for Facebook to use including your clients email address, phone number, full name, city, year of birth and gender.
On Facebook you should also be marketing to what’s known as a “lookalike” audience. A lookalike audience is simply, an audience or target market for your Facebook ad that are similar to the ones in your uploaded database. You can choose how similar they are whether they be eactly the same and have 0% difference all the way up to 10% difference. Any more than that and you are looking at marketing to a different audience altogether. A general rule of thumb is to keep them about 3% similar. Another reason we suggested above about building your database first is that you need a minimum of 100 people in your database for Facebook to create a lookalike audience. A lookalike audience is a powerful took that you should definitely be using in your Real Estate marketing efforts.
