June 2022 Market Update

Welcome to the NEW FINANCIAL YEAR!

Not only is June the end of the financial year, but it is also home to some of my favourite days of the year. We had Chocolate Ice Cream Day, Hug Your Cat Day, Martini Day, World Blood Donor Day, and Sun Glasses Day, just to name a few. But it also brought about a big change in the real estate market across Australia and New Zealand.

House prices in Australia have dropped for the second month in a row, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. While prices in New Zealand are still higher than they were this time last year, month-on-month there has been a sharp decrease. In both cases, it looks like prices may continue to drop for a while.

For more of an in-depth look at how the market performed in June, make sure you watch the video below. This month Grant was kind enough to step into my place while I’m on a short break to see family back in South Africa. But, if you’d like to get in touch to have a talk about the market and how you can bulletproof your business against it, you can book some time with me by clicking the button underneath the video.

With the market trending downwards, now is the time to brush up on your skills and knowledge. If you’d like to know which systems and strategies work best in this market, GET IN TOUCH today, I’m always happy to have a chat.
